You couldn’t miss it. The old Holiday Inn at NW 82 street and I-95 has been ordered to remove the building wrap billboards that have provided the property’s only income for years. It was a profitable endeavor, the legal fees were just a cost of doing business. The monthly fee, however, has dropped significantly over the past two years as competitive media rates have fallen.
Now, the party seems to be coming to an end as the Third DCA issued a ruling saying the Miami-Dade County sign ordinance is constitutional, and not an infringement of property owner rights.
In related news, the County has ordered the container wraps at I-95 and NW 95th Street removed.
