Brian Lang has been appointed Senior Vice President and Market Manager for CBS RADIO West Palm Beach, it was announced today by Scott Herman, Executive Vice President of Operations for the Company. Lang, who has been in the radio and television industry for 25 years, is taking over the responsibility of managing five stations that broadcast a variety of formats, including WEAT-FM (AC), WHFS-FM (Urban Adult), WIRK-FM (Country), WMBX-FM (Rhythmic CHR), WPBZ-FM (CHR).
“This is a well earned promotion for Brian who has done a terrific job with us since his return to West Palm two years ago,” said Herman. “Brian has a strong radio background, having been immersed in the medium at an early age. In addition to working in disparate markets throughout the country, Brian’s knowledge of West Palm Beach remains second to none.”
Lang succeeds Ben Hill, who is devoting his full attention to Tampa, where he was recently named Senior Vice President and Market Manager.
