<\/a>ESPN has announced the re-launch of Miami\u2019s spanish-language affiliate August 1, 2011 on WNMA 1210 AM under the operation of Deportes Media LLC.\u00a0 The new station claims 47,500 watts and a much expanded geographic coverage area.<\/p>\n\u201cThe ESPN Deportes Radio team is thrilled to expand our coverage in Florida and reach thousands more Spanish-speaking sports fans,\u201d said Oscar Ramos, senior director and general manager of ESPN Deportes Radio. \u201cThe re-launch in Miami presents great opportunities for our brand and will allow us to better serve this growing audience of passionate Latino sports fans. The addition of WNMA 1210 AM to our portfolio of stations solidifies our commitment to expand our national presence.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe WNMA 1210 AM team will work hard to give sports enthusiasts up-to-the-minute news and dynamic content with local twist,\u201d said Mara Rankin, vice president and general manager of ESPN Deportes Radio Miami. \u201cWe are excited to bring the best in sports commentary and programming to the underserved Latino fans in West Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.\u201d<\/p>\n
ESPN Deportes Radio Miami\u2019s Monday through Friday prime-time broadcasts will include: Caf\u00e9 ESPN with local traffic and weather updates, Voces Del Deporte, Acci\u00f3n Centroam\u00e9rica, Zona ESPN, SportsCenter and Jorge Ramos y Su Banda.<\/p>\n
